About this deal

If RadioLINK+ is used, ensure the alarms have been House Coded together correctly. They may have been connected to a nearby system. Reset and House Code again. Step 1 – Ensure all your alarms have been installed and tested and you have inserted your Ei100MRF or Ei3000MRF modules into your 160e Series, Ei2110e alarms or Ei3000 Series. It provides wireless interconnect between alarms, i.e. when one alarm is triggered, all alarms in the system sound. RF Visual Indicator: Amber light flashes continuously for 1.5 to 3.5 seconds while transmitting RF signal Designed for use with the Easi Fit range of alarms and its fully compatible with any Ei160 or Ei140;series alarms. - It is from here that the radio signals are transmitted and received.

The red indicator on the alarm attached to the Ei168 Base will flash rapidly to show an alarm condition for the smoke detector This step by step guide will show you how to replace and remove the existing alarm heads in a property. If you have an easi-fit base fitted, all you need to do is replace the alarm as there is no need to remove or re-wire the base.If you are using an Alarm Controller Ei450 this will continue for as long as you hold down the ‘Test’ button. If you have more than one alarm in the property and they are interconnected, this will also trigger all the other alarms in the property.

Step 5 – Repeat the House Code process in Steps 1-4 above with all the bases or alarms in your system. For use with 140RC when using an Ei168Rc RadioLINK base, 160e when using and Ei100MRF RadioLINK + module, Ei3000 series when using an EI3000MRF SmartLINK module or any RadioLINK enabled CO alarms.

How to House Code Battery Units

Range: The type of building will be the major limiting factor e.g. the number and type of walls/ceilings that the radio signal has to pass through. As a guide, 30m should be the maximum distance between any of the RadioLINK units in the system. The Ei168 RadioLINK Base transmits a radio frequency (RF) alarm signal when the unit attached to it senses fire. When it receives an RF signal from another Ei168 Base, the attached alarm will sound. It therefore eliminates the need to install long interconnect wires between all the alarms on different floors in different rooms. Once the system has been set up, information can be accessed securely from within or outside a property if access is an issue. Event logs can be retrieved as many times as necessary and for each alarm on the system, retrieving data such as how many direct button tests have been performed and when, any issues with the battery and/or mains supply, Carbon Monoxide (CO) levels detected if a CO alarm is on the system, Radio Frequency signal strength between alarms, age of alarms and any alarm removed. The 160e Series and Multi-Sensor Fire Alarm use a RadioLINK Module,Ei100MRF,directly into the head of the alarm to gain RadioLINK+ capabilities instead of a base.
